In mere hours after competing in the very last race of his career, Michael Phelps was seen taking 3 of his 18 gold medals as well as a mystery blonde to a club in London, according to TMZ.  The star swimmer also was accompanied by a couple of his close buddies.

It was said by the gossip site that the Baltimore native did indeed party very responsibly, as the Phelps clan all stuffed themselves into the backseat of an SUV and then received a lift home.

The legendary athlete had been previously dating Miss California Nicole M. Johnson back in January.  They were together for 3 years before going their separate ways.

Rumors in the past were brewing that the Olympian had repeatedly attempted to get touchy feely with several other women during the relationship.  At one point during the romance, he was even linked to reality star Brittny Gastineau. 

Interesting to note, a source that was close to the former couple had vehemently denied that Phelps had ever strayed on Johnson. The model had previously made the move to Baltimore in order to be close to the swimmer. 

However, she is currently pursuing her aspirations to be in the entertainment industry, which may have heavily contributed to their breakup.

On Twitter, the ex-beauty queen now coins herself a "host, consultant, model and Mogl success manager."

Many are wondering what will be next for the now retired Phelps?  Only time will tell.
