Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have been in the tabloids ever since the country singers first married in 2011. While the pair have tried to ignore the gossip with grace, some rumors have been too absurd to ignore. Here are five times Shelton and Lambert spoke out against the biggest rumors surrounding their marriage.

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert Raise Over $600,000

1. The $100 Million Divorce

While talk of divorce is the most popular celebrity rumor, particularly with these two, speculation back in December 2013 had their "divorce" breaking the bank. According to Taste of Country on Dec. 20, 2013 the couple had been rumored to be in the middle of a $100 million divorce, over twice as much as the $40 million divorce rumor which had circulated earlier that year. The couple went on to address the rumor with good humor on Twitter.

In joking about what they would do with the money, Lambert jokingly insisted "Mostly just crack and hookers… Oh and Taco Bell!!"

2. They're Having Triplets

As one of country's hottest couples to have no children, Shelton and Lambert get the pregnancy rumor a lot. According to an April 6 report in Music Times tabloid rumors have claimed the pair were expecting twins five different times. The most outrageous baby rumor is the one which said the singer was expecting triplets. In an interview with Billboard on May 9, however, Lambert took the gossip in stride. "I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years," she noted with a laugh, "And we've been divorced four times."

3. Cheating Scandal

Some of the most volatile rumors surround Shelton have been that he's cheating on his wife. On April 17, 2013 Radar claimed the country singer had been carrying on an affair with then 23-year-old singer Cady Groves.

When additional cheating allegations surfaced this year, former The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian told Fox 411 on July 2 there was nothing to the claim. "We all think it's silly and stupid and we love each other," declared the singer. "I don't know how I can pay back Miranda and Blake [for all they've done]… they're just cool people and I love them."

4. Substance Abuse

While some country singers have recently opened up about substance abuse struggles in the past, Lambert is not one of them. In July 2013 she addressed rumors that she had a drinking problem, claiming that while she does drink she is not an alcoholic. Lambert told Country Weekly on July 12, 2013 that while the tabloids claim she's "drunk and alone" it couldn't be less true. "I'm in the tabloids every week for being famous for something I didn't even do than for something I want to be famous for," she noted, "Which is playing my damn guitar and writing a song."

5. They Are Leading Different Lives

One rumor had the couple's careers pulling them apart, both literally and figuratively. On Sept. 20, OK! Magazine reported that the couple barely communicated when they were out on tour and that it was taking a severe toll on their marriage.

Realizing that this sort of talk could easily lead to more divorce rumors, Shelton elected to nip the rumor in the bud on Twitter at the start of October.

So far none of these rumors have been proven true, but as one of country music's most talked-about couples, news of Shelton and Lambert will always draw interest.
