Finally! Austin Mahone teased his fans mercifully about his new song for weeks and now he finally released some music for his beloved Mahomies.

Mahone released a new song called Places on Monday with collaborator Robert Villanueva. The song is a bit more mature for the 18-year-old and a tad more into the R&B genre.

Mahone had earlier hinted about trying different genres on his upcoming album, which is due next year. Mahone had previously released his EP called The Secret in May. Mahone has been busy recording his debut full-length album all fall long.

"We have awesome songs lined up and a lot of good people I'm working with," he added to the Daily Tribune Music. "I'm probably going to stick with pop for the most part," Mahone said, "but I'll try some different styles, too. I'm gonna jump out to a little more EDM, maybe some R&B, different stuff like that."

Even while releasing his new song Places, Mahone is currently on his South American tour. Mahone will be in Leon, Mexico on Wednesday, followed by Monterrey, Mexico on Friday. Mahone's next stops will then be Guatemala, Argentina, Chile and Peru into November.
