Constantine is rolling out more DC characters, and The Spectre will be one of the first to make an appearance.

Starting off as police officer named Jim Corrigan, The Spectre is eventually created when Corrigan is murdered and returns from dead to seek justice. Played by Emmett Scanlan, the officer of the law may come into conflict with Constantine (Matt Ryan).

"We'll be seeing Jim Corrigan who becomes the Spectre," Ryan said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "That's going to be a really interesting relationship between him and John since they have the same objective but go about it in completely different ways."

Fans should start looking for Corrigan around episode 5, which was penned by Daniel Cerone.

"Within the context of episode five, we had a need for a police officer who sees that supernatural evils exist," Cerone told IGN. "So it's a perfect opportunity for us, because we can name this character Jim Corrigan and within our story, for the general viewer, that works, because now Constantine has a friend on the force."
