The fight to bring A&E's Longmire to a new network is far from over, and the cast and crew of this beloved crime drama are in awe of the fans who have stuck by them.

While the cast is contracted to the series into 2015, the fans who were devastated when the program got the axe after three seasons have not moved an inch in their support during this critical time. Longmire's Hunt Baldwin even noted as much on Twitter Monday, claiming that this "quest" isn't over yet and saying that the drama has some truly "amazing" followers.

Hunt shared a similar sentiment earlier this month, when he compared the fans to Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) himself.

Producers continues to bring the cancelled series before new networks, hoping one will decided to take the show on as part of its lineup. Amazon, Netflix, USA and TNT have all been rumored, though nothing's been confirmed.

The drama does have the benefit of having been the network's top-rated scripted series prior to cancellation. It was also A&E's second highest-rated series overall behind the popular reality program Duck Dynasty.

If Longmire does manage to find a new network, it will likely return for a fourth season during the second half of 2015.
