Star of USA's Chrisley Knows Best, Todd Chrisley, has spoken out after his son Kyle Chrisley slammed him in an interview.

Kyle Chrisley's Assault Victim Speaks Out, Says He's Still 'Running' From Police

Kyle recently claimed that Todd was not only a "thief" and a "fake" but accused him of taking his daughter, Chloe, and using her to boost ratings for the show. Todd spoke with E! News in an attempt to set the record straight.

"It's unfortunate. Kyle is bipolar. Normally people that are bipolar, they seek out a way to self-medicate. Which is what Kyle has done since he was young."

Todd revealed that they attempted to stop Kyle's interview with The Daily Mail the night before it hit the Internet. But the editor of the site insisted that Kyle's story should be told and their feud could increase viewers for the show.

On top of claiming that his father is a snake, Kyle suggested that Todd wanted Chloe on the show because she is a bi-racial child and it will help reach their "demographic." Todd said that is one of the accusations that stuck out to him more than anything.

"That is probably the most hurtful thing of the article. I'm not gonna focus on Kyle's stories because that's my son and I love him. I will give him the help that he needs once we locate him. He left my mother's house about seven weeks ago. And we have not seen him."

He also confirmed that the police are on the hunt for Kyle and denied booting him from the series.
