Shaw spoke with Jamie Foster Brown of Sister 2 Sister magazine recently and said that she has not completely ruled out the option of reconciling their relationship.

"I always see us being very close friends, but who knows what God has planned. I'm a human being and I'm a woman. It hurts, but you can't make a person feel a certain way and I'm okay with that."

The reality star added that she does not point the blame at herself as to why the romance ended. "...And what I realize is it wasn't my stuff. It was his stuff. It was his issues. He just wasn't ready for monogamy. I appreciate him for telling me that."

Shaw's storyline struck a chord with fans as she revealed she and Ne-Yo decided she should get her tubes tied after having their children. She told Sister 2 Sister that Ne-Yo was actually supposed to follow suit.

"We talked about that and we were actually both doing it. He could have gotten his. I'm not sure if he went through [with it]," she said.

Shaw and Ne-Yo are parents to two children, who are both three years old. She said having two children within the same year, or Irish Twins, is what prompted her and Ne-Yo to decide on the procedure. However, she said she did not foresee the relationship coming to an end.
