Many cable channels are airing horror movie marathons throughout Halloween day and into the night. Here are some of the highlights:

AMC is airing a marathon of the Halloween movie series, starting with Halloween 4 at 9 a.m. and going through the series sporadically until 11 p.m.

BBC is showing a marathon of horror movies that include Species at 11 a.m., Interview with the Vampire at 1:30 p.m., Hannibal at 3:30 p.m., Interview with the Vampire again at 6 p.m., The Silence of the Lambs at 8 p.m. and Hannibal again at 10:30 p.m.

Those who love cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show should tune into Logo at any point on Halloween. The network is airing the film over and over starting at 10 a.m. and concluding at 6 a.m. Nov. 1.

FX is the home for Paranormal Activity and other modern horror films. The network is airing Red Riding Hood at 8 a.m., Halloween Resurrection at 10 a.m., Paranormal Activity at 12 p.m., Paranormal Activity 2 at 2 p.m., Paranormal Activity 3 at 4 p.m., Final Destination 5 at 6 p.m., Men in Black 3 at 8 p.m. and Men in Black 3 again at 10:30 p.m.
