Pretty Little Liars will put the mystery of 'A' to bed after season 7.

Liars Shocking Thoughts On Hunky Costars; Actresses Reveal All In 'Pretty Little Liars' Halloween Special

Currently in its fifth season, the ABC Family drama appears to have an exit plan in place as it has designated season 7 as its last.

Actress Lucy Hale (Aria) broke the news to E! on Tuesday.

These 'Pretty Little Liars' Actors Know 'A's' Identity, When Will You?

"There rumors that maybe [there will be] a movie, there might be a movie," Hale teased. "But seven seasons will definitely end the show."

The announcement doesn't come as a surprise for long time fans. Series creator Marlene King recently revealed that 'A' identity would spill out before season 7, meaning the crux of the plot will no longer be a mystery.

"I think fans got a little worried when they found out that we were going seven seasons, because they thought maybe they're going to have to wait that long to find out who 'A' is, but I am promising you that you don't," King reassured views during the Oct. 21 Halloween special, "We Love You To DeAth." "The identity of Big 'A' is going to be revealed before season seven starts."
