Golden Brooks Tells Fans, "I'm Not Coming for Lisa"

Countess Vaughn is most known for her work on "Moesha" and "The Parkers" as the hilarious, bubbly Kim Parker.  But, as the producers of "Hollywood Divas" do their best to peel back the layers of Countess and her three (Lisa Wu was already on reality TV) actress cast mates, fans are learning more than ever about their favorite stars.  On episode four, audiences heard the most shocking confession of the series so far.

"I had an unwanted pregnancy," Vaughn told her therapist in a taped session.  Countess had just started her show ("The Parkers") and "knew that in Black Hollywood, a girl having a baby... They get rid of you."  Vaughn chose her career and unfortunately, did not do it the safe way.  In order to ensure that women would not follow her or "get any ideas," she kept the details to herself.

Paula Jai Reveals How She Lost Her Home

The seasoned actress had a successful career as a child and teenage star.  For the most part, things seemed to go smoothly as she transitioned from "227" to "Moesha" and later, "The Parkers."  But, she admitted that one of her cast mates on her hit show made her feel less beautiful because she was "fat, black and ugly."

She said, "Marla Gibbs was great and taught me how to love myself... But, there were certain people on there just weren't cool."  Countess went on to tell her therapist about the person who despised the way she looked, justifying her views because she was "from a different generation."

Countess' painful past is sad to hear about, but the fact that she has gone out to get help is inspiring.  Hopefully, other people who have past wounds to heal will do the same.
