The Originals is currently in the process of filming Episode 12 for the drama's second season on The CW and the amount of time the cast and crew are spending in the bayou suggests more werewolf storylines to come.

Director Matt Hastings posted an early morning photo on Thursday which showed him standing in the bayou where many of the scenes involving Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) werewolf pack have taken place.

Considering that the pack was hiding out there at the start of the season, this image suggests that the wolves will continue to struggle as things move forward.

On Monday night's episode Hayley and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) helped save a group of young werewolf kids whom Esther (Sonja Sohn) wanted to use in building her army. These children were supposedly shipped off to hide out with the packs still fighting off the witches, but it's uncertain whether or not Esther will go looking for them. If she does, Hayley's wolves will be weaker and outnumbered.

Hayley has been struggling this season with her identity, wanting desperately to lead her pack in spite of that the fact her new hybrid status has made her an outsider among them.

The Originals continues on The CW with its second season Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
