As the much talked about Aaliyah: Princess Of R&B prepares to air on Lifetime, an official Twitter page in memory of the late singer has made it clear they are still not happy about the movie.

Alexandra Shipp Reveals She Was Originally Turned Down For Aaliyah movie, Talks 'Nerve Wrecking' Pressure

Earlier this month it shamed everyone involved in the making of the biopic for using Aaiyah's name for ill will.

It retweeted a fan who wrote, "Aaliyah didn't lose her life so people can disrespect her legacy and use her name to gain attention and money...While we lost a great artist, Aaliyah's family lost a daughter and sister, so we need to understand their loss is deeper and greater..."

Alexandra Shipp Says She Attempted To Contact Aaliyah's Family 'I Hope They See The Work We've Done'

On top of that, fans have gone as far as making a Twitter account to halt the biopic from airing called @NoAaliyahMovie. It called out Wendy Williams for taking on the role as executive producer and even lead actress Alexandra Shipp for signing on for the lead role.

The page threatened to "spam" Shipp, Williams with "heartbreaking" pictures of Aaliyah's family at her funeral, in an effort to get enough sympathy from the cast and crew to stop the movie.

A petition was even launched back in June to defend the family of Aaliyah's attempts to shut down the movie.

"It's wrong that Aaliyah's mother or brother didn't have a say so in this movie that is being made. The fans didn't get a say so and neither did any of Aaliyah's friends. As her fans, we're going to do anything in our power to stop this movie.

Little do we know, this is hurting Mrs. Haughton and Rashad. They're about to make something that didn't even get approved from her family. That is beyond disrespectful."
