Brady (Eric Martsolff) thought his life was finally getting better and under control-but he is quickly learning that everything he was beginning to believe in on Days of Our Lives has been a lie.

John Warns Theresa She Isn't Off The Hook

He had been hopeful ever since his father, John (Drake Hogestyn) woke up from his coma, even though he felt consumed by guilt because he believed he had been responsible for the accident that put his father in that state. However, after listening to Kristen's (Eileen Davidson) recording of Theresa's (Jen Lilley) confession, he went to the hospital-and realized Kristen was the only person who had told him the truth after he overhears his father and Theresa talking about the truth-Theresa was the one who hit John, and John would eventually expose her, but only after he removed the threat of Kristen.

Brady was hurt, and after denouncing his relationships with both his father and the woman he had started sleeping with again, he went off to confront Daniel (Shawn Christian) for knowing the truth and keeping it from him as well-but once he arrives at Daniel's apartment, he will be in for a bigger shock.

Kristen Tells Brady The Truth About John's Accident

Fueled by their mutual grief over losing the ones they love-Kristen believed all was lost with Brady, while Daniel had learned that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) no longer wanted to make things work between them-the two began drinking at his home. And while upset, they suddenly gave in to passion and started to make love-which Brady will now walk in on.

Learning he had had been deceived, and seeing his best friend and former fiancée in bed together could push him back over the edge-and he will once again give into his worst demons and spiral back into a state of addiction.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
