It looks as though one of the remaining castaways may be quitting the game in the next episode of CBS's Survivor: San Juan del Sur.

Jeff Probst Teases Somebody Could 'Steal' The Win From Frontrunners Jeremy & Josh

CBS has released a plot synopsis for the next episode of Survivor: San Juan del Sur, titled Million Dollar Decision. The synopsis reveals that one tribe member is considering quitting the game.

"The pressure of the game forces one castaway to contemplate throwing in the towel," the plot synopsis reads. "Also, alliances start to crumble with the impending merge and one castaway commits the ultimate sin."

Natalie Anderson Starting To "Make A Case" To Possibly Win

Based on Survivor history, it would seem that the "ultimate sin" being referred to is quitting the game. This action has been openly derided by host Jeff Probst in the past, especially with the first quitter Osten Taylor in Pearl Islands and Colton Cumbie in Blood vs. Water. However, this ultimate sin could also be referring to someone giving away their Immunity, like Erik Reichenbach memorably did in Micronesia, which resulted in him being voted out.

Wednesday night's episode of Survivor featured an extended segment where Julie McGee was contemplating quitting the game due to the incessant rain, combined with the lack of food. However, she ultimately resolved to keep going. Was this a fake out for viewers who know that a quit is coming?

It's always possible that another castaway could break down mentally and decide to leave the game. Jon Misch would certainly have a good reason to leave the game if he was feeling concerned about his ailing father, in a move comparable to Jenna Morasca in All Stars.

Survivor: San Juan del Sur airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
