Though Black Friday itself is sure to see retailers giving consumers drastically reduced prices on several hot items, two of the largest retailers plan to roll out sales earlier than ever this year, promising discounts at special savings events beginning Nov. 1.

Wal-Mart Teases Plans For Huge Black Friday Discounts

Best Buy has announced that they plan to have a special savings event at select stores Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1:00-4:00 p.m., allowing shoppers to save money and preview the holiday collections from some of the top brands they sell in store, with experts on hand to help demonstrate products and fine the perfect gifts for consumers.

Offers the company will have for the special event will include a free $50 Best Buy gift card when purchasing iPad Air or iPad Air 2, a free $100 Best Buy gift card when purchasing a MacBook Air, a $100 savings when purchasing the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 128 GB tablet with keyboard and Microsoft Office, three times the Best Buy points with the purchase of any Samsung Ultra HD Curved HDTV, a $200 savings with the purchase of both a Sony 55" LED TV and PS4 gaming console, and a free Xbox Live 12-month gold membership when purchasing an Xbox One console.

Our strategy is simple: lead with low prices, offer the best brands, make shopping easier than ever and bring the holiday joy that only Walmart can deliver."
