Thanks to forward Alex Morgan's game winning goal, the U.S. women's soccer team is now headed into finals to face off against Japan for the gold; which will be a rematch of the 2011 World Cup Final in which they lost.

However, with a couple of days to kill until the highly anticipated matchup, many are indeed wondering if the female soccer beauty has made any love matches off the field?

Unfortunately for all the smitten guys out there, America's forward is indeed taken by another soccer player; Servando Carrasco of Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders. They have been together for 4 years.

Interesting enough, the midfielder actually had to persuade the Sounders to take on Morgan on the women's league side this year. It was allegedly a lucky break scenario, as Carrasco had spoken to the women's general manager Amy Carnell. Turns out, the 23 year-old was too good of an opportunity for her to let go by because she was a U.S. national player; which made 5 total for the organization.

Morgan quickly rose in popularity. She had even posed for the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in body paint. Her stardom led to excessive interview requests for Carrasco, which began to form a bit of a wedge between the power soccer couple. However, the two ended up communicating on the issue and their relationship has flourished since.

According to The Seattle Times, Morgan had the following to say this past April in regards to the respective rough patch:

"We talked about the attention I was getting and the interviews he was having to do about me, which I can understand would get frustrating," Morgan had said.

"We had that one conversation and ever since then, it's been fine," she clarified.

Team USA will take on Japan for the gold medal on Thursday, August 9th at 2:45PM EST.
