After her reported split with Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey may have made a reference to her love life during a performance.

On Monday, Mirror mentioned that the star was performing in Australia when she showed up on stage in a tiny outfit, revealing her curves. One of these included a strapless top that exposed her cleavage along with a couple long dresses that also showed off her chest.

According to the site, Carey reportedly sang Barbara Streisand and Donna Summer's song "No More Tears" where she let out, "It's raining, it's pouring, my love life is boring me to tears, after all these years."

Mirror then pointed out something from Brisbane Times where Carey apparently told the crowd, "When I was a kid, I was thinking 'she's telling it,' but now I know it's just a song."

"It's just songs. I mean, really, or is it deeper than that?" she added.

That is the mysterious question right now if Carey really was making this song lyric deeper than it should have been. Considering that her marriage with Cannon is reportedly on the rocks, she could've used this song to point out what's going on in her love life. Perhaps, the romance could be gone and now she doesn't have much happening in that field.

Cannon recently talked about the split on The Meredith Viera Show posted on E! News where he revealed that one of the hardest parts is having the media make the stories worse than what is actually happening.
