In the midst of gold medal basketball competition, Kevin Durant looks to be at the top of his game after putting up 28 points in Team USA's route over Argentina on Monday. While the star's uncanny playmaking abilities have been widely publicized, his love life has usually not.

However, many are speculating that the Oklahoma City standout has been discretely shacking up with former Destiny's Child group member Letoya Luckett, as of just last month.

A photo had surfaced of what appeared to be the two dining together, but their faces aren't fully viewable to completely verify the claim.

However, Durant seemed to confirm the dating speculation by choosing "like" on all of the singer's Instagram pictures. 

According to Media Takeout, Durant had been aggressively pursuing Luckett for months to no avail. This is because the R & B singer had been previously trying to reconcile with her former boyfriend; Los Angeles Dodgers Centerfielder Matt Kemp. Durant's refusal to give up seemed to pay him dividends in the end because she had allegedly ended up agreeing to a date.

Funny enough, the basketball player had tweeted the following to Luckett in December of 2011:

"Hmm @LetoyaLuckett RT @Holycow_cee: @KDTrey5 what celebrity would you go on a date with?"

The celebrity duo is now an "official couple" and are "very happy together," stated the online site recently.

'They BF' had reached out to Luckett to inquire about her newfound love in which she replied "no comment."  Kevin Durant has refused to confirm the relationship at this time as well.

Team USA will take on Australia in the 2012 London Olympic Games Quarterfinals On Wednesday August 8th at 5:15 ET.
