The couple's six kids - Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6 - want to make sure their parents are always willing to apologize to each other.

"They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, 'Sorry,' if we do," Jolie told Vanity Fair for the December cover story. "So they said, 'Do you?,' and we said, 'We do!'?"

After nine years together, Jolie and Pitt wed in a small chapel in Correns, France in front of their family and friends on Aug. 23. Maddox and Pax walked their mother down the aisle while Zahara and Vivienne were the flower girls. Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers.

"It does feel different," Jolie also told the magazine. "It feels nice to be husband and wife."

Jolie and her hubby are currently in Malta filming By The Sea for the past few months. The upcoming film is directed by Jolie and produced by Pitt.

Set in France during the mid-1970s, the film follows Jolie's character Vanessa, a former dancer, and her husband Roland (Pitt), who appear to be growing apart. Yet, things quickly begin to unravel for them as they travel in a small town. The romantic drama marks the first time the couple will star together since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
