X-Rated actress Belle Knox has spoken up on sex workers where she cleared something up on how the public tends to view it.

Does Belle Knox 'Refute The Notion' That She Can 'Never Be Happily Sexual?'

On Wednesday, the porn star wrote a column in Rolling Stone on how she seems to believe that prostitution should be legalized. She then pointed out how people who are against this kind of work tend to show this as a horrific act, but in Knox's perspective, that's actually not really how it is.

"First and foremost, I'd like to clear up a myth that remains pervasive in any discussion about sex work," Knox wrote. "Prostitution opponents love to promote images of abused hookers and human traffickers to trump up hostility towards sex work. While it's true ill-intentioned criminals do exist and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, these conditions do not apply to the bast majority of sex workers."

Knox then pointed out that most people who enter the sex industry do it because they enjoy it, and it should not be mixed with human trafficking abuse.

"We should especially not conflate the sex industry with the abuses of human trafficking because it delegitimizes the workers and creates a moral panic that manifests itself in harmful legislation," the actress shared. "The fact of the matter is that most sex workers enter the industry via their own consent and genuinely enjoy the work."

Knox finished her column by saying that she's proud to be part of the sex industry and anyone who wants to be a part of it should not feel ashamed.
