Reign is about to go on a mysterious trail that could leave Francis and Lola in some serious trouble.

Mary & Catherine's Different Identities Chatter On 'Reign'

On Thursday, the promo for next week's episode titled "The Prince of Blood" shows Narcisse discovering a secret about Francis and the death of King Henry, which leaves Francis in a blackmailed position. Narcisse warns him that he might reveal how the kind really died so Francis is stumped.

Bash offers to kill Narcisse, but Francis doesn't want to lose control like how he did before. Catherine then shows Francis a paper that can code messages that apparently result in execution. Based on how the promo presented this moment, this paper is something that could expose Francis. So he gives it to Lola for her to hide and Narcisse won't find it. So she puts it behind a picture, but unfortunately, Narcisse finds her.

Is 'Reign' Being Predicted For Cancellation?

Does this mean that Francis will be caught with the truth about King Henry's death? And if so, what will his punishment be? Not to mention, what will happen to Lola for trying to hide this secret? Maybe she'll be able to think of a reason for what she's hiding and why, but a secret like that might be too complicated for a lie.

Reign airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
