He might have had a string of women by his side after finalizing his divorce five years ago, but it looks like Jon Gosselin is a single man right now - and loving it. The former reality television star admitted that he is "dating himself" right now and that he has no plans to reconcile with his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin.

According to an interview he did with Extra TV on Saturday, Jon said, "I don't even know myself... I've always been with a woman. I'm dating myself right now."

As far as how things are between him and Kate, Jon admits that they do talk, but only because they are trying to co-parenting their eight children together, although it doesn't always come easy.

He said, "There is no real relationship, like we don't talk. Co-parenting is just not working at this point in time... The biggest reason, I think we both wanted different things. I wanted to settle down and kind of get off TV for awhile.. and she wanted to further her career."

Meanwhile, Jon has hinted that he wouldn't mind going on television again to help benefit his kids.

According to Life & Style Weekly last Wednesday, Jon is eager to attend therapy sessions with Kate in order for them to better co-parent their eight children together.

He told the site, "I would consider appearing on Couples Therapy with Kate. We're divorced, but why can't we co-parent? I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering."
