It seems like the producers of the next James Bond film are trying to fully embrace the international story with multiple locations and actors from different nationalities joining the film. But could this tennis icon from India be the next rumored Bond girl?

A Famous Director Has Spoke To Producers About Directing A 'James Bond' Movie One Day

Gulte reported on Monday that Sania Mirza, best known for her tennis game, has been approached by producer to play a small role in Bond 24. The site added that the tennis star has been trying to find a perfect role to get into the movie business and this could be the one.

The site also added that reportedly, parts of this film will be shot in India and they want a sports woman to feature in it. Sania is yet to take a call on that. "Bond is a world icon. Thinking of taking the Bond offer. Watch this space for more," she said of the offer.

'James Bond 24' Has Found The Artist To Sing Its Theme

There is no official confirmation of an offer yet and this is the first report that the film would be taking place in India. Previous rumored locations were Austria, Morocco, and Rome. But at the same time, they just recently got done with location scouting so India could have been added at the last minute.

Mirza played professional tennis from 2001-13 where she decided to retire from both singles and doubles matches. She has recently been doing charity work and seems keen to give acting a try.

Bond 24 is directed by Sam Mendes from a script by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan. The film stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Lea Seydoux, and Dave Bautista.
