After news got out that Witches of East End will not be getting a third season, one of the actors revealed his hope to bring the show back for more episodes.

'Witches Of East End' Season 2 Finale Chatter

A petition is currently going around that has more than 60,000 signatures as of Tuesday. One of these signatures might include Daniel di Tomasso's who played Killian on the supernatural drama. He took to Twitter on Saturday to post a link to the petition and to say how grateful he is to the fans who are doing what they can to help bring the show back.

When Twitter user @Angel_cakes37 wrote, "I hope another network sees our fight picks it up #renewwitchesofeastend," di Tomasso responded with, "Wow, hats off to the fans."

The actor then posted another tweet on Monday where he made a little joke to series creator Maggie Friedman and mentioned that he wants the series to come back.

"Umm @MaggieFriedman, kinda awkward going to the bathroom since I switched bodies with Dash"-#Killian #RenewWitchesOfEastEnd @EricWinter1," he wrote.

As of now, it seems like Witches might be a done deal since it was announced last week that it got cancelled. But with this petition going around, everyone seems pretty hopeful that there might be some new episodes soon, perhaps on a different channel. Di Tomasso expressed his gratitude to all his co-workers when the cancellation became public.

"To the cast, crew, and creative team at #WitchesOfEastEnd, thank you. An equally heartfelt thanks to the fans. Best ever. #woee #witchees," he wrote.
