The first trailer for Insurgent is out and fans are going wild for their first look at the latest movie in the Divergent series. But what issues does it show that Tris is dealing with after the events of the first one?

Twitter Trend Hints At 'Insurgent' Teaser Release Coming Soon

1) Tris has a lot of regret about the ending of Divergent

In the end of Divergent, her mother (played by Ashley Judd), died and it seems like this left a giant hole inside her heart. The trailer plays like a dream sequence as Tris tries to rescue her mother from a burning (and floating) house. Shailene Woodley told the LA Times a few months back that "it's interesting because the movie feels bigger in tone and in image but in a scene it feels smaller." It seems like the actress is talking about how powerless Tris feels after losing her mother.

2) There will be a lot more action

Just the one-minute trailer shows that a lot more action is on the way for this movie. Woodley and costar Theo James have said in multiple interviews that the film will feature more action as both stars zeroed in on a train sequence that will happen later in the film that they say will blow people's minds.

3) Tris will be split between people she cares about in this movie

Building off of the points made in the first reason, it would seem with all of this internal trauma there could be even more issues outside of Tris' mind also. There are rumors that a love triangle between Four (James) and another character could be created and there is the underlying threat that her brother Caleb (Ansel Elgort) could be betraying her. She will be split between the people she chose to be closest to now.

4) The movie will pull a Hunger Games and up the ante in the sequel

While there was a lot of turmoil in the first movie, just judging by this trailer, Insurgent could carry as much weight or more heading into Allegiant and its two movies. While big events happened in the first movie, even more will happen in this one.

5) This is only the start of what will happen

This teaser, which runs a little over a minute long, only shows one thing that will be happening in the film. We have yet to see Four, Caleb, Peter, and the rest of the gang yet so there is still a lot to learn as we approach the movie.

Insurgent hits theaters on March 20, 2015.
