Now that Big Sean and Ariana Grande have gone public with their relationship, The Way singer has no problem dishing on how she feels about her boyfriend.

Most recently, she spoke with European newspaper The Sun and said they are still going strong.

"We were never really hiding [our relationship]. We just didn't feel any need to announce it. But I could sit here all day and gush all day if you want me to. I'm just really happy and very safe."

Grande shocked fans when she traded in her signature ponytail for a sleek, down look at the 2014 MTV European Music Awards Sunday. An insider said that the Marvin & Chardonnay rapper was the inspiration for the new look.

"He's totally encouraging her to wear her hair down more. She's attached to her big ponytail because it makes her feel protected and more confident, but he's making her feel like she doesn't need that. 

He tells her she's beautiful with the ponytail too, but he's been encouraging her to wear her hair down more, he likes it."

That certainly seems to be true considering Big Sean took to Twitter to compliment Grande's look for the evening. 

He wrote Sunday, "shine bright by baby!!! U look amazing!" along with four hand clapping emojis. 

Grande also gave him a shoutout the same night and tweeted, "you're my favorite" with two heart emojis. 

Still, Grande recently confessed that she is a little reluctant about how much of her relationship she shares with fans. 

"I have conflicting feelings about it. On the one hand, I feel like I'm growing up and realize my life is my life and some things don't need to be shared. But I'm very spur-of-the moment, very open with my fans. And if there's a cute pic I like that's a little personal and I want to share it, maybe I will."
