R. Kelly tries to step in and says, "Believe me I can imagine what you're thinking. But I promise it is not that way."

That's when Aaliyah's dad (Sterling Jarvis) charges toward him as Aaliyah and her mother (Rachael Crawford) tries to stop him. Her mother is able to calm him down for a second while she asks Aaliyah what happened.

"We got married," she says. Considering she is just a teenager, it does not take her parents long to figure out they lied on the marriage license.

"I love him," she exclaims while her mother asks, "Are you crazy? The man is almost twice your age!"

She then turns her anger toward R. Kelly.

"How could you with a 15-year-old girl? We trusted you."
