Diem Brown passed away Friday after a long and brave battle with cancer.

The MTV Real World/Road Rules Challenge reality star died at 10:22 a.m. in New York City, People reported. She was 32.

"I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!" she tweeted on Nov. 11.

Brown was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer when she was 23 and was diagnosed again in 2012. She beat the disease both times. However, in August, Brown's cancer returned in her colon and stomach lining. Two months later she revealed the disease traveled to her liver and lymph nodes.

During her struggle, Brown became an advocate for cancer and also founded MedGift, a crowdfunding site launched to help patients. She also maintained a positive outlook and seemed determined to beat the disease.

"I believe in power and positive thinking, I can see myself with a family, I can see myself getting married, I see all of these things," she told People in October. "I've had one or two brief moments where I felt like my body was shutting down no matter what my mind was thinking, and I'm like, 'What the hell? Shut up!' You legit have to start fighting with yourself. You can't let your mind go there, ever."
