President Barack Obama is apparently a huge fan of Netflix's prison comedy-drama Orange Is the New Black, much to the delight of the show's star, Taylor Schilling.

Schilling appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers Thursday night where she discussed President Obama's love of the show.

"I feel like he knows me!" exclaimed Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman on the series.

"It's so exciting, I mean, the President is such a big deal," Schilling quipped to Seth Meyers in the interview (featured below).

Meyers then showed a photo from the White House Correspondents Dinner this year in which he mentioned Orange Is the New Black in a joke. In the photo, Schilling and her co-star Uzo Aduba (who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren) are reacting with glee at the president name-dropping their show.

President Obama apparently loves the show so much that he watched the show on Air Force One, with Schilling saying that she's heard from "reputable sources" that this is true.

Orange Is the New Black has certainly entered the public consciousness in a big way, becoming Netflix's biggest show along with House of Cards. The show also broke through with 12 Emmy nominations this year, with Aduba winning the award for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Schilling was nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series but she lost to Julia Louis-Dreyfus from Veep.

Orange Is the New Black is set to return for Season 3 in mid-2015 on Netflix. The first two seasons are currently available in full on the streaming site.
