Aniston plays a woman who is mourning the loss of a loved one while also suffering with chronic pain. According to People Magazine on Monday, Aniston says that all the Oscar talk is making her act "awkwardly and stutteringly."

She said, "It was just a wonderful beautiful story of a woman in extraordinary pain, living through an unthinkable trauma. I also found her quite humorous and quite endearing. You have empathy for the character."

Is Jennifer Aniston Scared Of Running Into Angelina Jolie?

She also said of the role, "It ticked all the boxed that an actor dreams of."

Aniston also says that she didn't think twice about "letting go" appearance-wise for the film, too.

She added, "As women, we do feel that we have to live up to an expectation whether it is on camera or going to do the market. The truth of the matter is that that is not always the way it is. We don't always have our high heels on. We don't always have our makeup on. It was extremely liberating to let all that go."

Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Aniston might be having a showdown with Angelina Jolie at the Oscars next year.

Radar Online reported last Wednesday that Jolie is a frontrunner for a Best Director nod for her film, Unbroken, while Aniston has been hotly tipped for a Best Actress nomination for her role in Cake.

While it's still uncertain as to who will get nominated for what films, both women are getting plenty of praises from the critics these days in what might be their best work of their careers yet.
