One of the stars of CBS's The Big Bang Theory paid tribute to his recently deceased costars in a unique and powerful way.

After the death of Carol Ann Susi, who voiced the mother of Howard (Simon Helberg) on The Big Bang Theory, Kunal Nayyar (Raj) appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said some touching sentiments.

"Sadly, a couple of days ago, we lost one of our cast members," Nayyar began. "She's famous because of her voice. She unfortunately lost her battle with cancer. We will miss her and she was a lovely lady. Her spirit will live with us on set forever."

He also revealed a fun fact about the legendary voice actress.

"She's the only person I know in Los Angeles who didn't drive. For 30 years, she didn't drive a car. She would take the bus to work at Big Bang!"

The loss of Susi weighs significantly on Nayyar, considering he would sometimes drive her home after finishing shooting The Big Bang Theory.

"We've been on the show for eight and a half years now and it's a dream come true," Nayyar admitted. "It's like a family and we're really blessed."

Susi's death was announced on Nov. 11, having lost her battle to cancer at the age of 62.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
