Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland has officially begun filming in Wilmington, N.C. and fans of the crowd-funded movie may have their own chance to join Darin Brooks, Romanski and Alan Ritchson as a part of the cast.

Alan Ritchson Talks 'BMS' The Movie

According to The Star-News, a local extras casting agency has been employed by the film's production team to continually work on casting several people in various background roles for the film. The agency, Kimmie Stewart Casting, has also been updating those interested in joining the film what specific roles they are looking to fill in for each day-with calls already going out for female DJs, male cops, college-aged couples, and party girls.

The exact plot of the film has not yet been revealed, but it is expected to pick up where the Blue Mountain State TV show left off after it was cancelled following its third season on Spike. The show ended in Thad (Ritchson), Alex (Brooks), and Sammy's (Romanski) junior years of college at the fictional top football school in the country.
