The birth of Daisy's (Carla Gallo) baby is set to go down in Thursday night's episode of Fox's Bones which may be inherently dramatic given the circumstances, but it won't necessarily be upsetting.

Gallo spoke with TVLine about the episode, which sees Daisy giving birth to her and Sweets' (John Francis Daley), just a handful of episodes after he died. While there is a certain amount of weight to the scene, Gallo suggested that it won't be too bad.

"Maybe it was supposed to be dramatic, but I don't think I'm capable of that," Gallo said, laughing. "I feel like to do a dramatic birth is too upsetting for anyone to watch."

However, the specter of Sweets will apparently "looms large" in that hospital room, according to Gallo.

Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan previously spoke about the shocking death of Sweets in the Season 10 premiere.

"We didn't know what to do. And then we realized that this fit in very well with the conspiracy arc [that landed Booth in jail]," Nathan explained. "It gives us something very rich and very emotional to play within the first half of the season. Everybody's affected very deeply by this. And it also seemed to be a surprising way to start the season. Usually when characters meet their ends on a series it's at the end of the season."

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
