Jennifer Aniston might have divorced her ex-husband Brad Pitt well over 10 years ago, but it looks like the tabloids just can't stop comparing her to his new wife, Angelina Jolie.

According to new reports, the two actresses are set to have an "Oscar showdown" next year as Aniston is hotly tipped to be nominated for her role in Cake while Angelina Jolie might be getting a Best Director nod for Unbroken.

In Touch Weekly's print edition this week says that Aniston has "been waiting a decade to look Angie straight in the eye and tell her how she really feels. She's told friends she's repulsed by her. Angie stole her man. How is a woman supposed to ever get over that?"

According to Gossip Cop on Wednesday though, there is simply no truth to the rumors. Aniston's rep tells the site, "This is dumb, even for In Touch."

Meanwhile, Aniston herself has said that she is "flattered" with all the Oscar buzz she's been generating with her Cake role lately.

Aniston plays a woman who is mourning the loss of a loved one while also suffering with chronic pain. According to People Magazine on Monday, Aniston says that all the Oscar talk is making her act "awkwardly and stutteringly."

She said, "It was just a wonderful beautiful story of a woman in extraordinary pain, living through an unthinkable trauma. I also found her quite humorous and quite endearing. You have empathy for the character."

The film hits theaters in limited release next month.
