Ryan Lochte Sister Megan J Torrini Photo Surfaces After She Is Mistaken as His Girlfriend

Ryan Lochte's sister Megan J. Torrini, is making headlines all over the Internet after several tabloids mistaken her as his girlfriend.

Celebrities' site TMZ reported that Lochte was seen with a "mystery woman" inside a cab on the way from a nightclub in London. The site published a picture where Lochte's sister is sitting on his lap.

E! Online claimed Lochte "appeared slightly disoriented" as the woman climbed on his lap.

But all the reports seemed to cause embarrassment once news site Buzzfeed reported that the lady sitting on Lochte's lap was his sister.

"Man, do we feel gross. BuzzFeed made us feel just terrible Tuesday night, pointing out that the girl in the blue striped shirt on Lochte's lap in the now infamous back seat picture was his indeed his sister, Megan," Sports Grid site wrote.

People online echoed the sentiment  posting reactions to the awkward discovery on Facebook and Twitter.

"That awkward moment when the media confuses @ryanlochte'ssister for his mystery woman. #fail" user Olivia Morris wrote on twitter.

"Uh, Ryan Lochte, your sister sitting on your lap is seriously NOT normal, and quite disturbing. You are messed up in the head," said Darren Fisher.

Lochte, 28, won a total of five medals at the London Olympics 2012 including two gold medals, two silver and one bronze.

After his success interest on his private life has grown more and more. In an interview with E! News he admitted to be single at this moment but said he would like to date someone.

"Yeah, I mean I definitely want a relationship. I want to give a certain someone my heart," Lochte told E! News. "I mean, I just gotta find the right girl."
