American goalkeeper Hope Solo may have won the gold medal in a 2-1 victory over Japan in women's soccer on Thursday, but also clearly has her goals covered when it comes to sexual awareness at the Olympic Games.

When Solo sat down with ESPN in July, she hardly had any qualms about coming clean on the racy escapades that supposedly go down at the Games.

USA's star goalie had the following to say in an interview regarding Olympic promiscuity:

"There's a lot of sex going on. Unlike at a bar, it's not awkward to strike up a conversation because you have something in common," Solo revealed.

"Athletes are extremists," she added.

"When they're training, it's laser focus. When they go out for a drink, its 20 drinks. With a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to build memories, whether it's sexual, partying or on the field. I've seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty," Solo shockingly stated.

"It starts with, 'What sport do you play?'  All of a sudden, you're fist-bumping," she continued.

"If you don't have discipline, the village can be a huge distraction," Solo said.

While on the racy subject, the soccer player also came clean on her very own escapades.

"I may have snuck a celebrity back to my room without anybody knowing, and snuck him back out.  But that's my Olympic secret," she also revealed to the sports network.

Not always wild and free, she was most recently linked to a Seattle party promoter Adrian Galvez, but they have indeed broken up. Currently, the star is single.

According to USA Today, she had recently opened up about her off the field priorities.

"I can't be all soccer - go, go, go, go - I need a social life, I need a life outside of soccer. So I very much welcome, you know, new love interests and dating and friends and family," she admitted.
