Some more details have been released on the private lives of Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and his girlfriend who admitted that she was born intersex.

Michael Phelps Issues Public Apology Over DUI

On Saturday, Hollywood Life posted a story from Taylor Lianne Chandler who reportedly confessed to being the swimmer's girlfriend before he went to rehab. While there has been some blacklash on the woman for admitting how she was born, she pointed out that there's more to the story than what others think they know.

"I told my story to Michael a day before I posted it on my private Facebook and then public," Chandler told the site.

She also explained how the public is perceiving her ever since her announcement was made, and admitted that there are reasons why she hired a publicist.

"Why do I have a publicist? Because I am an interpreter, I had a company website, I am licensed, credentialed and my contact info was public," Chandler said. "I thought by telling the truth and feeling free for the first time in 41 years that this would stop. Instead I am just an evil born a man, fraud, never dated Michael liar to the world."

According to the site, Phelps has apparently not made any contact with Chandler since this situation started- and this sounds like it's hurting Chandler a lot.

"I went through hell for him. I protected him," she said. "I stayed quiet as the media ripped me apart for seven weeks. I have trusted him and fell for him. My past, my livelihood has all been exposed and taken from me, yet I am evil and destroying his life."
