Jodi Arias is a convicted killer who is currently involved in a retrial since the jury from her original trial couldn't come up with a sentencing they agreed on, but she's not wasting any time in waiting to find out that outcome either.

Rounding Up The Happenings Of The Jodi Arias Retrial

Arias hired private investigator Dorian Bond with Bond Investigations to start the appeal process as reported by ABC15 Arizona.

Arias may not know her fate yet, but Bond said, "She's ready for this part to be over and so she is ready to move forward to the appeal process. The appeal process takes a long time. So we're just getting a jump on it."

Arias will either be appealing a life sentence or a death sentence. If the jurors in the retrial give Arias a death sentence she will automatically be able to appeal it at the expense of county taxpayers, Bond told ABC15 Arizona. If the jurors give her a life sentence she will be able to hire her own counsel.

Bond also commented, "I'm surprised at the outpouring of people across the world that have sent her money." Her parents, Bill and Sandy Arias, have reached out on social media asking for donations for their daughter's legal fees. The video can be seen below.

Bond shared he is investigating issues he said came up during the trial, including Jodi's relationship with her one lawyer, Kirk Nurmi. He said, "Now they have a better relationship, but during the important part of the trial when she didn't want him leading her trial, she was actively trying to get him off the case. She felt that her grounds were valid and she felt the judge ignored her request."

He also touched on how Jodi revels in the media attention, but she is willing to turn her back on the media if it means she could potentially walk free.

Bond also divulged that Jodi is remaining positive and upbeat.
