Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter recently dished on how the big series finale of the motorcycle drama will feel.

'Sons of Anarchy' Finale Won't Have 'A Dry Eye In The House'

FX released another "Inside the Final Ride" featurette on YouTube simply titled "Retrospective." In it, Sutter and longtime SOA producer and frequent director Paris Barclay talk about the show's legacy and what they hope the viewing audience takes from the show by the end of the final episode.

"I think everyone has an opinion and a desire and a wish for how they want it to end," Sutter says. "My sense is when we get to that last episode that it feels like another episode of our show where ultimately there's not any more story to be told in that mythology."

TV shows can sometimes disappoint their audience with their series finales, with many still upset over the finales of ABC's Lost or Showtime's Dexter, but other finales can leave fans feeling completely satisfied, such as with AMC's Breaking Bad.

Sutter suggests that Sons of Anarchy will probably fall in the latter category.

"There will be enough information about our hero that people will feel satisfied," he says, cryptically.

Barclay adds that he hopes Sons of Anarchy is remembered as that show that came after FX's The Shield and before AMC's The Walking Dead, and seen as a show similar to a "comic strip."

At the end of the day, Sutter just hopes that it was worth it for those fans who invested seven years with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and the gang.

"My hope is that people feel like it was worth sitting in front of their TVs every Tuesday night for three months out of the year for seven years - that it was worth the ride and they people feel fulfilled and that they were glad they showed up, week after week."

Sons of Anarchy airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
