It seems like after Sam Mendes took the Bond franchise back home with the last installment, he will be bringing the character back on the road with his next movie and this could include some big action sequences in Rome, Italy.

Christoph Waltz Is Confirmed To Play This Classic Bond Villain In 'Bond 24' & Beyond

The Hollywood Reporter reported on Monday that Bond 24 would be filming three major action scenes in Rome, as confirmed by the Italian news agency ANSA.

According to the site, several nighttime high-speed car chases are planned through the historical center's narrow, winding streets as well as on main thoroughfare Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, with one car ending up in the Tibur River.

ANSA adds that another high-speed car chase will reportedly result in an iconic Fiat 500 getting crushed in Borgo Vittorio, near the Vatican. And perhaps most memorably, Bond will parachute from a helicopter onto Ponte Sisto, a 15th-century pedestrian bridge that connects Trastevere to the center.

They added that there will also be scenes shot outside of Rome, in Campania, in the Royal Palace of Caserta, known as the Versailles of Italy.

Rome is added to a slate of places including England, Morocco and Austria where Bond will be filming at. There were elaborate housing sets being constructed in Austria that could be housing the film's villain played by Christoph Waltz.

Bond 24 brings back Sam Mendes as the director and John Logan, Robert Wade and Neal Purvis as the writers. Daniel Craig is back as Bond with Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista rounding out the cast.

The film comes out on Nov. 6, 2015.
