While a sequel isn't planned yet, Disney will be taking us back to the world of Frozen with a new short film that will allow fans to see what the characters are up to right now. But could the plot be a prologue to what could happen in the sequel?

Is Disney Not Planning On Making A Second 'Frozen' Ever?

Frozen Fever, which is expected to come out in 2015, follows the story of a birthday that could be going wrong. It's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.

The story is small and will allow fans of the first film to enjoy seeing these character interact again as well as getting a new song to parody all over the internet, but could it lead into the sequel?

When Is 'Frozen 2' Coming To Theaters?

Rumors have circulated that the sequel could deal with someone entering Elsa's life (maybe Jack Frost) and becoming a love interest for the character. But what makes the world so interesting is dealing with Elsa's powers and their effects on her life and those around her.

If a sequel does happen, it could build off of the story in Frozen Fever and go into how Elsa's powers, while under better control now, are still something that hinders her day-to-day life and causes issues for her and the people she cares about.

By doing this, it allows Disney to make a sequel and dives more into the characters rather than making up some giant spectacle just to warrant a second movie.
