Jason Derulo Opens Up About Breakup With Jordin Sparks

Sparks and Derulo began dating in 2011. The next year, Sparks was featured in the remix of Derulo's single, "It Girl." The couple also worked together on Derulo's song, "Vertigo," which was part of his third album, Tattoos. Then, two months ago, Derulo announced they had split, blaming Sparks for putting to much pressure on him to marry.

"There was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons… There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time," the singer told Ryan Seacrest, via Us Weekly.

Days later, Sparks spoke to TMZ, denying she was pressuring Derulo to marry her.
