It was one of the most evenly matched finales in Dancing With the Stars history, but Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro managed to eek out the competition and win the Mirrorball Trophy.

Riberio and his pro dancing partner Witney Carson won Dancing With the Stars season 19 Tuesday night after receiving the highest combined score from both the judges and America. After all of the hoopla of the winner announcement, Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron spoke with the winning couple to get their thoughts now that the ride is over.

"It's unbelievable to sit here and to have work so hard," Ribeiro said, "And Deena Katz and I just tried to get me on the show and finally to be here and I got the perfect partner in Witney and this was a magical, magical amazing experience!"

Meanwhile, this is a huge win for Carson, who just started competing as a pro dancer on the show in the spring for season 18. The So You Think You Can Dance alum was overwhelmed by how far she has come, from watching the show as a kid to now winning it.

"It's so crazy! I just remember watching the show when I was really little and now being here and winning it?! This is so surreal, it's amazing," she admitted.

Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson came in second place with her partner Mark Ballas while Pretty Little Liars actress Janel Parrish came in third with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season in March.
