The Voice Tuesday night whittled down its Top 10 to its Top 8, which sent two female contestants packing-Anita Antoinette and Reagan James that led to their responses and other contestants' reactions on Twitter.

'The Voice' Top 10 Gave Solid Performances With A Few Standouts

Antoinette of Team Gwen and James of Team Blake unfortunately did not land any of the perks that the other remaining eight managed to land during last night's live elimination. They could have been saved by the public's vote, by the Instant Save or by gaining extra votes through landing their songs in the Top 10 on iTunes, but that didn't work out for either of them.

Antoinette and James wound up in the bottom three with Team Gwen's Ryan Sill who previously sat in the bottom three with Jessie Pitts and Sugar Joans the week prior. Antoinette and James had the potential to earn the Instant Save, but Sill managed to take it for himself. James performed I'm Like a Bird, Antoinette performed The Remedy and Sill performed Collide, all of which can be seen below.

Eliminated Season 7 'The Voice' Contestants Sugar Joans & Jessie Pitts Reveal Who They Think Will Win

The girls reacted with grace to their eliminations on Twitter.

Gwen Stefani tweeted Antoinette to say, "thank you" for allowing her to be part of Antoinette's journey. She capped off the tweet with three heart emojis.

Antoinette also tweeted about her journey, calling it "an awesome ride!"

James tweeted a cover she did of her coach's song Neon Light that she posted back in September. The full tweet can be seen below, but James does say, "I love you," to Shelton.

She also tweeted to tell all of her fans to stop feeling so sad about her elimination. She concluded, "WE'RE ONLY GOING UP FROM HERE ILY". The remaining Top 8 are: Matt McAndrew, Chris Jamison, Taylor John Williams, Craig Wayne Boyd, Damien, Luke Wade, DaNica Shirey and Sill. Sill tweeted his gratitude once again for being saved. Check that out below.

Shirey is the only female left in the competition and she took to Twitter to share her gratefulness too. See that below where she addresses all of her DaNeekers.

Tune in Monday at 8 p.m. ET to see the remaining Top 8 continue their journey on The Voice on NBC.
