While her contract is up, her on-screen hubby is headed to start a Civil War amongst the Avengers. Could Pepper Potts play a role in the battle between Iron Man and Captain America that will be popping up soon?

Captain America Is In For More Trouble, According To Third Movie Villain

In an interview on Monday with Dish Nation, Gwyneth Paltrow talked about being a part of a future Marvel movie and if she would have a part in the next Captain America movie since Tony Stark or Robert Downey Jr. had joined the cast.

"I don't know. I've heard rumors that maybe, and I don't know," she said. "My fingers are crossed. I would love to be Pepper Potts again at some point in my life."

It is interesting to see that Paltrow would be happy to take on the role again. Her contract ended with the third Iron Man movie and there were rumors that she was never happy with the lack of screen time for her part. By joining the third Captain America movie, would she be assured more of that?

Who knows, but adding Pepper to the plot would help give some more character to Tony's side of the fight. Pepper is his rock and having her with or against him could change however he felt about this new war that he and Steve Rogers would be starting.

Paltrow would most likely have to sign a new deal, which she could be more happy to do since there is no Iron Man movie in sight and she could jump into whatever massive team-up Iron Man is apart of in future movies.
