Ellen DeGeneres may be the talk around town this week because it looks as if fans really want the talk show host to star in the new film Fifty Shades of Grey.

On Tuesday, fans learned that DeGeneres may be making a cameo in the new anticipated film, but they quickly learned that she is actually playing the role of Anastasia Steele.
Clearly, this is just a prank, but some of DeGeneres's fans wish she was actually starring in the movie and they took to Twitter to show support for the new critically acclaimed actress.

While introducing the clip, DeGeneres joked, "So, the Fifty Shades of Grey movie comes out next year and I am so happy and proud to say I got the lead role and I'm definitely going to be the lead in the movie.
"They're acting like it's Dakota Johnson, but it's not, it's me. Because no-one knows their way round a whip more than me."
This spoof is beyond hilarious and only proves that DeGeneres is the ultimate prankster.
