The popular NBC show Law and Order: SVU is currently on hiatus, but with its return only two weeks away, viewers are eager to find out what happens next in the new episode.

'Law and Order: SVU' News: Find Out How New Ray Rice-Themed Episode Ends 

The new SVU episode entitled Pattern Seventeen has a lot of shocking twists and turns that will leave fans nervously sitting on the edge of their seats.

In episode 9, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday Dec. 10, it looks like Detective Olivia Benson may be losing Noah, her adopted baby.

In a teaser photo, posted by show runner Warren Leight, viewers quickly learn that Benson is going to run into some serious problems with Child Protective Services regarding Noah's health related issues.

The SVU writers also took to Twitter to share an adorable snap shot of Benson and Noah.

In addition to Benson's trouble, the new episode will follow a case surrounding a serial rapist whose M.O. is very similar to a predator who lives in Atlanta. The members of the New York Special Victims unit go a manhunt to try and stop the predator before it's too late.
