Even though Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may have called it quits, it looks like they're doing their best to stay on good terms especially with the holidays coming up.

Nick Cannon Admits He's 'Trying To Slow It Down'

The America's Got Talent host confirmed to In Touch, as posted on Wednesday, that he and his pop star ex will be spending Christmas together along with their 3-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.

"Gotta keep that going," Cannon said. "I want to make sure we have a wonderful holiday together."

Cannon then mentioned that their Christmas will likely be "somewhere cold and snowy, like Aspen [Colorado]."

The TV host then reportedly said that he and Carey are planning to keep things friendly, which sounds like it's mainly for the sake of their two children.

"We talk and text every day," Cannon said. "My children are my No. 1 priority. Everything I do is for them. I just want to be the best father I can possibly be."

More details on the family's holiday season can be seen on Daily Mail where Cannon dished on what he wants to buy his kids this Christmas.

"My son loves games, like Angry Birds, but I'm trying to keep their eyes on the educational stuff," he said. "And honestly, my daughter likes sparkly things."

Cannon then admitted that his daughter is pretty similar to her music superstar mother.

"My daughter is like her mom. She's a diva," the TV host said.
