The Doctor Who 2014 Christmas Special has received a rather ominous title.

Called "The Last Christmas," the holiday episode will introduce Santa Claus, but it could spell the end of the Doctor/Clara partnership.

"The Doctor and Clara face their Last Christmas," teased BBC. "Trapped on an Arctic base, under attack from terrifying creatures, who are you going to call? Santa Claus!"

Fans have reason to worry as the seemingly devastating title and recent rumors regarding Jenna Coleman's departure have sparked speculation about Clara's fate. Is the current companion ready to leave the TARDIS? Coleman has yet to confirm the rumors, but the actress has made a few telling comments.

When asked how she would like Clara to be remembered, Coleman made it sound like the Christmas Special would be her last.

"I don't know yet. I don't know," Coleman told Digital Spy. "To be honest, it's hard when you're in the middle of it... We've still got the Christmas episode to come out."
