Brazil vs. Mexico in the men's soccer 2012 Olympic final takes place on Saturday from Wembley stadium in London. The match kicks off at 3 p.m. London time (10 a.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream (link provided below).

The game promises to be an immense battle between two likely contrasting styles. Whereas Brazil are more likely to play an expansive and throw-caution-to-the-wind style of play that they are famous for, Mexico is likely to keep a tight unit and look to break out in certain areas to try and expose the Brazilian defense. It will be an interesting contest, and although Brazil surely enter the game as hot favorites, this really is anyone's game.

Lucas Moura is likely to be one of the Brazilian stars to watch. He was recently pursued fiercely by Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United before opting for a $45 million deal with Paris St. Germain. He is a devastating player who can be explosive with his skills. He will be one man Mexico must stop if they are to claim the win today.

Leandro Damiao will be another Brazilian Mexico will have their eye on. He is another player both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have had their eye on and the Brazilian has scored 6 of the team's 15 goals in the Olympic tournament to date.

On the Mexican side Jose Corona will be a vital player if they are to win gold. Even though the Mexican defense has done reasonably well until now, they have not come up against any side with the fire power of the Brazilians, and Corona will be fiercely tested. His first priority will be keeping a clean sheet, and whether he can manage it or not could determine Mexico's fate.

Brazil eased their way into this final game by cruising past South Korea in their semi final. Even though Brazil have struggled to hit top gear in some games during the 2012 tournament they were on form against the Koreans and smashed in three goals to claims a convincing 3-0 victory.

Romulo opened the scoring in that game with a first time strike following a perfect pass from Oscar. Brazil also have the tournament's top scorer in their ranks in Leandro Damiao, who has scored six so far, including two in the second half against South Korea.

Brazil have never won the men's soccer gold medal in the Olympics before, and they are desperate to claim the one accolade missing from their footballing history. They have scored 15 goals in five games now and seem to be hitting their best form at the right end of the Olympic tournament.

However, the most successful South American football team in history will be up against an impressive Mexico side. The Mexicans had an amazing game in their semi final against Japan, and showed evidence that they will be serious challengers for the gold medal.

In that game Japan took an early lead in the 12th minute when Yuki Otsu scored a stunning early strike from long range. Mexico had their backs against the wall, as Japan had not conceded a single goal in the Olympic tournament until that point meaning Mexico would have to do what no other side had done just to pull level. However, the Mexican response was conclusive, and they they were the better side from that point onwards. Marco Fabian equalized and Oribe Peralta and Javier Cortes also scored to claim the 3-1 victory.
